| Jon Bon Jovi has been one of the best and
most liked pop/rock stars of the last 20 years with almost a dozen top
selling albums including arguably his most famous in "Slippery When Wet",
with pop anthems You Give Love a Bad Name, Wanted Dead or Alive, and Living'
on a Prayer, just to name a few. He has also struck a chord with a new
audience with hits such as It's My Life and Every Day and his newest
greatest hits collection called "100,000,000 millions fans can't be wrong"
which is a testament to how many fans have bought his recordings over the
years. Bonjovi has been great to his fans also, making many public
appearances and signings over the years and always trying to stay in touch
with his biggest supporters. He also has become very prominent in the
business world, working deals to bring Arena football to the Philadelphia

4/11 Bon Jovi is performing at the VH1 Save the Music concert at the
Beacon Theatre in New York City. Normally we don't carry tickets for

The best seating for this concert
will most likely be the Floor Standing room only area, but only if you get
to the concert early, otherwise you will want to sit near the stage in the
West and East Bleacher areas or towards the center of the South Bleacher
area. However, since the Hard Rock Hotel is a small and intimate
concert hall, no seat will be bad for this concert and if you are looking to
save some money and still see a good concert, just choose the cheapest Bon
Jovi tickets available.

Short History of the band
Jon Bon Jovi's real name is Jon Bongiovi, and as a young janitor at a
recording studio named "Power Station", Jon got his first big break with the
song "Runaway". After Runaway was a local hit in New Jersey, Jon
formed the band Bon Jovi and the rest is history. But it wasn't that easy,
their first two albums, Runaway, and Fahrenheit 7800 were both respectable
hits, but it wasn't until 1986's Slippery When Wet that the band really hit
it big. One of the biggest reasons why, was that Bon Jovi teamed with a
professional song write, named Desmond Child to write over 30 songs, and
then from those 30 songs used local New Jersey teens and other listeners to
rate the songs and help pick the ones that should be put on the new album.
This formula of hard work and ingenuity paid off, and Livin on a Prayer, You
Give Love a Bad Name, and Wanted Dead or Alive all become big time hits and
solidified Bon Jovi as one of the best pop/metal bands of the 80's.
However, this probably wasn't their biggest accomplishment, because as other
bands faded in the early 90's, Bon Jovi was able to revamp their image and
stay in the mainstream and still sell records. That was something that almost
no metal bands of the 1980's were able to do, a huge feat in itself. |
